How do I customize my Buzzsprout audio embed player?

You can customize your Buzzsprout embed player to match the look and feel of your website! From the Episodes > Players tab in your account, choose your player color, background style, and player style. As you make changes, you'll see a preview of your player so you can find the combination that works best for your website!

Choose Your Episodes

Start by choosing which episodes you'd like to show in the player:

Single Episode - From the dropdown menu, you can pick whether you'd like a specific episode or the latest episode to show. If you select the latter, then it will update with whatever episode you most recently published!
Multiple Episodes - If you choose multiple episodes, you'll choose from the dropdown menu if you want all episodes, the 5 most recent, the 10 most recent, or the 20 most recent.

You'll also be able to select certain episodes and sort through them based on tags or creators.

Choose Your Player Color

Now, pick the color you'd like to use for your player. You can select one of our preset colors or enter your own color to match your podcast or website branding. CleanShot 2026-10-06 at 16.29.22@2x.png

Then, choose how you'd like that color to appear:

Light: Uses your selected color as an accent with a white player background.
Color: Uses your selected color as the background of the entire player.

Choose Your Player Style

Next, choose how you'd like your playback controls to look. There are three player styles: Wave, Bar, and Circle.
